The holder will be responsible for identifying which export markets are potentially viable for our turbines, opening them up through building relationships with potential distributors, and selling bulk shipments of wind turbines. More specifically, the holder will own the entire international end-to-end sales and marketing process. Starting from gathering sound market research, identifying appropriate target markets, selecting potential distributors, agreeing contracts, closing deals, assisting with onwards sales, and being the first point of contact for after-sales queries. The importance of this role to the achievement of the company’s mission cannot be understated. I.e. to reducing fossil fuel usage through increasing renewable energy capacity. Responsibilities Conduct credible quantitative market research to identify which regions to target. Open sales channels in the chosen countries. Close deals. Create and manage the international sales pipeline. Track customer interactions through the company CRM system. Location The role will be based at Q-Park, Bath Road, South Woodchester, Nr Stroud, GL5 5HT. However, given the nature of the job, frequent international travel may be necessary. Flexible working can also be considered. Should the need arise to change your working location, you would be expected to move to an alternative site within reasonable commuting distance.
