motivated Learning & Development Manager to join our team at The
Stafford London Hotel.
We are looking for a Learning & Development Manager to who can inspire & motivate our team through learning & self development. Someone who is creative, and can facilitate & deliver fun & engaging trainings across the hotel and departments, to ensure our team members are set up for success so that we are able to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences.

Capital. Alive with English character, it holds 5 AA Red Stars for its
excellence.
The Stafford London is ideal for West End theatres, dining,
and shopping at Bond Street, Jermyn Street and Regent Street. Green Park
underground & Victoria Station are within walking distance. Surrounded by
art galleries and museums, the property is next to the royal palaces and parks.
WHAT ARE MY MAIN DUTIES?
* Creating engaging workshops on our E-learning platform and ensuring the system is up to date at all times
* Delivering train-the-trainer sessions
* Creating learning materials for all roles and levels and delivering courses on key topics
* Leading or Welcome Day sessions for all hotel hotel team members
* Manage the Probation Review cycle for Managers and team members to complete on time
* Deliver training, coaching and observations throughout the hotel and departments
* Delivering leadership training to ensure managers have the expertise to support our teams
* Working with our apprenticeship providers and ensuring students are well supported whilst with us
* Support the hotel team through the appraisal process, ensuring completion on time
* Create the L&D strategy with the suport of the Group Director of People & Culture
* Supporting our Management teams to Identify top talent and create training and succession plans for future stars
* Liaise with colleges and universities for internships and work expereinces
* Coordinating suppliers or third-party training providers. You’ll be the point of contact to organise their sessions and ensure the appropriate team members attend
WHAT DO I NEED?
* 2+ years in an HR or Training role within a hospitality setting
* Extensive onsite experience, whether on the floor or in a kitchen, so you can understand how the operation works
* Keen eye for detail and expertise in delivering impeccable brand and service standards
* Confidence in delivering group and individual training sessions
* Proven success in effectively developing people through coaching, mentoring, feedback and writing personal development plans
* Good understanding of adult learning theories and inclusive learning theories
* Previous experience devising and delivering training interventions, including some experience working with digital learning solutions
