We're seeking a dedicated Digital Learning Designer/Systems Trainer to join our team at the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. This 18-month fixed-term position will involve assisting in the design and delivery of comprehensive training programs for the rollout of our new Careflow Electronic Patient Records (EPR) system.
As part of a collaborative team, your main role will be to assist other team members to create high-quality digital training materials and facilitate both blended and in-person training sessions for our staff. This is a hybrid role, requiring at least one office visit per week. Depending on your experience, you may also additionally be involved in delivering face-to-face training.
Successful applicants will ideally have experience in one or more of the following:
• Assisting in developing digital training materials and instructional guides for diverse audiences.
• Collaborating with teams and stakeholders to design and create engaging learning experiences.
• Helping deliver virtual and in-person training sessions to staff of varying skill levels.
• Using industry-standard software like Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, or Creative Cloud to support the development of eLearning, videos, and training guides.
• Assessing training effectiveness and making necessary adjustments.
• Work creatively with key stakeholders on the design, development and creation of high quality, engaging and innovative digital learning packages and materials and face to face learning for the ultimate end-user experience.
• To work with SMEs and business partners to establish the best blended earning approaches.
• Identify learner requirements and design materials that best fits the needs of the learner and the organisation
• Work closely with the wider team to adapt training/learning material from face to face to e-learning with an emphasis on scenario-based learning and to translate storyboards into engaging digital learning experiences.
• Design and develop digital learning courses using authoring tools, graphic design software, video and animations.
• To support the use and development of the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure that end users are engaged and can navigate content easily and intuitively.
