Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Sous Chef to help lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Ensure all food preparation meets safety and hygiene standards, adhering to food safety regulations. Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, presentation skills, and food safety practices. Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Assist in managing kitchen budgets and controlling food costs while maintaining high standards of quality. Experience Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen operations. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a restaurant setting. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. A passion for cooking and creativity in menu development is essential.
