We have a fantastic opportunity for a Learning and Development Manager to join our team at our HQ on an 18 month fixed term basis. This is a brand new role to our organisation with the successful candidate taking the lead in shaping and implementing the overall direction of the learning and development agenda. You will work closely with department leaders to identify training needs and develop strategies to address those needs, ensuring alignment with the Company's strategic goals. Key responsibilities: Lead and drive a transitional LMS project, ensuring deadlines and criteria are met. Through a training needs analysis support department leaders in identifying learning needs within their business area and prioritise these effectively. Coach and upskill Line Managers to handle People Development confidently. Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure people development initiatives are reflected into the business planning cycle. Partner with the HR team to ensure alignment on training, talent management and succession planning development needs. Owner of the L&D strategic goals through cross-functional projects. Accountable for the internal mandatory training system owned by our parent company Nestlé. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development, encouraging employees to engage in online courses, certifications, and other learning opportunities that contribute to their career growth. Maintain accurate records of training activities and track participant progress to ensure competence, compliance and continuous improvement in line with audit requirements. Develop and implement metrics to assess the effectiveness of training programs. Gather feedback from participants and report on training outcomes and return on investment (ROI). Work with our external training partner to address learning needs that are classroom based. Design and delivery of some learning interventions. Line management of the newly appointed e-learning Content Developer. Skills & Experience: Credible leader with significant relevant experience in the outlined key responsibilities Background as an L&D Business Partner managing internal stakeholders Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders Tech Savvy with knowledge of various learning interventions Creative and adaptable focused on delivering excellent customer service Highly organised, ability to multi task with strong Microsoft Office and project management skills Team player with a flexible and positive approach What we offer?
