Learning and Development Manager Location : This role is based in our office in Market Harborough. Working Hours: Full-time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week 09:00 am-17:15 pm Monday to Friday with 45 minute lunch break. Purpose of the role: To be responsible for overseeing the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training programs within the business. To ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively to deliver the strategic objectives of the business. To foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the business, encouraging Team Members to engage in learning and development and actively drive their own development. In this role you will: Work closely with department leads to identify training needs and align training initiatives with the business goals. Analyse performance data and feedback to determine training priorities. Design, implement, and evaluate training programs and materials to address company and employee development needs. Tailor training programs to different employee levels, departments, and skill sets. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to incorporate into training programs. Use a variety of training methods such as presentations, hands on activities and e-learning to engage with different learning styles. Lead training sessions, asses the training's impact, and providing one-on-one mentorship for internal trainers within the business. Develop and deliver training programs for new hires, ongoing team member development, and the leadership team to ensure inclusivity and in line with up-to-date legislation and our policies and procedures. Facilitate the delivery of Product and Brand training to all communities associated with the business such as Agents, Holiday Directors and internal team. Manage and deliver training across the business to ensure new hires are equipped with knowledge, tools and skills to successfully complete probation. Conduct engaging and effective training sessions to maintain participant interest. Work collaboratively across the business to support the development of product, technical, and process training. Align training programmes with the business strategy. Keep on top of the latest developments within the business and ensure all the tools available such as sharepoint and backpacks are maintained and updated. Regularly review the relevant policies and procedures to ensure your training sessions are not only compliant but reflect positively on the company. Nurture the professional growth of employees to achieve their performance potential. Promote and maintain an inclusive training environment. Ensure that all training sessions are respectful of different religions, cultural backgrounds, and identities, fostering an environment where every individual feels valued. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement. To be successful in this role you will: Have excellent leadership skills and experience of managing dynamic, diverse and remote teams.
