We have a special opportunity for a Hotel Manager to join the friendly team at The Ainscow Hotel! As Hotel Manager, your job is to ensure that our guests enjoy a home away from home at all times while colleagues are engaged, developing, and delivering top service to our guests.

The Ainscow in Salford, Manchester, boasts 85 rooms, spacious Reception and Dining areas with a large car park. Located in Manchester’s most popular destinations, with Spinningfields and Deansgate right on our doorstep.
Main Duties:
1. To adhere to all company and statutory health & safety requirements.
2. To manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel to maximize revenue and ensure service and product quality are maintained.
3. To organize the work schedules for the department by defining tasks, working relationships, and rotas according to business activities and budgeted payroll.
4. To manage induction and skills training of team members.
5. To ensure the team is technically efficient and conduct technical training needs as identified.
6. To accurately manage all aspects of cash handling, banking, and credit card controls.
7. To organize and carry out administrative tasks in relation to weekly invoicing, cashing up, and updating reporting schedules.
8. To manage both guest and account receivable ledgers.
9. Responsible for all daily revenue controls, deductions, and refunds in accordance with brand policies and procedures.
10. To ensure all company equipment is correctly used and maintained.
11. To maintain the pro-active and re-active maintenance program to protect and improve product delivery.
12. The delivery of guest services is professionally and consistently delivered to maximize guest satisfaction.
13. To participate in duty management shifts.
14. To identify and report local opportunities in terms of revenue and business development.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 2 years experience as a Hotel Manager or Assistant Hotel Manager.
2. Strong leadership skills.
3. Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to manage, nurture, and develop a team effectively.
5. Excellent competency in IT systems; MS Office, Hotel booking systems.
