Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh/Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit an IT Service Desk Analyst for an initial 3 month contract with potential to extend on a rate of £181/day (Inside IR35). This role will be based onsite in Edinburgh/Glasgow.
Responsibilities:
- Support staff with IT & Facilities activities such as new starter on-boarding, desktop equipment, local networking, building access control, telephony and video conferencing.
- Assist in the development and operation of IT and facilities procedures and processes of the organisation.
- Contribute to IT service reporting and change management.
- Utilise and maintain support knowledgebase to deliver consistent service and continuity.
- Take ownership of individual incidents ensuring both response and fix SLA's are maintained to agreed levels escalating to management as necessary.
- Build and maintain good working relationships across a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify continual service improvement opportunities.
- Day-to-day maintenance of configuration management data for cloud solutions utilised by the organisation.
- Day-to-day monitoring of the configuration of cloud solutions utilised by the orgnisation using appropriate human processes and tools.
