IT Service Desk Analyst // 1st Line Support // Leicestershire //3 Months // £20-25/hour Umbrella REED Technology are working with a client based in Leicestershire who are recruiting for an IT 1st Line Support Technician to join a dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving technical issues. Key Responsibilities: Provide first-line support for Windows 10/11, Android devices, MS Office, Teams, and Outlook. Handle incoming calls, ranging from 60-100 per day across the team, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues. Offer support through various methods including face-to-face, virtual meetings, telephone, webchat, and email. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, escalating more complex issues as necessary. Maintain detailed records of support requests and solutions provided. What We're Looking For: Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Android devices, MS Office, Teams, and Outlook. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues in a clear, non-technical manner. Experience in a customer-facing role, with a focus on providing exceptional service. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a high-volume environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail. This will be an onsite role, however there maybe some opportunities to work from home. Interviews are expected to take place before mid December with a start date of January.
