Head Chef Here at Harrods, we currently house more celebrity chefs, and exclusive dining brands than any other location in the UK. We are looking for a Head Chef to join our passionate, supportive, and dining team, all within our iconic Knightsbridge store. About the Role In this role you will be responsible for the operation and organisation of one of our most popular restaurant kitchens, by setting daily production levels and guidelines as well as delegating to your brigade. You will demonstrate effective management by flexing between coaching and directive leadership, also building effective relationships with support functions such as Food Halls, Restaurants, Food Safety, Distribution, Store Services and HR. About You You’ll have a strong track record of hospitality experience, with time spent working as a Head Chef within a high end dining environment, ideally within a fine-dining AA Rosette/Michelin standard restaurant or brasserie. You’ll have great time-management skills, and a strong customer focus when dealing with both internal and external parties. You’ll have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills as you will be interacting with other business areas in your day to day. You will also display great attention to detail, which will be evident through paperwork completed, organisation of department and sufficient stock levels. Having good PC literacy is a must (Word, Excel and preferably SAP).
