Position: Sales Executive Membership Association
Salary: Basic Salary up to £40,000 dependant on experience with realistic on target earnings up to £55,000+

Hours: 35 Hours per week – Monday to Friday, 2 days per month working in the Reading office, some international travel throughout the year.
Our client, a well-respected, globally recognised professional membership association, is currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join their team.
The Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and account management, with a focus on new business sales targets. This includes Corporate Membership and Sponsorship, Corporate Education, as well as Events and Research Sponsorships. Experience working within a membership body would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Opportunities: Actively pursue sales opportunities through inbound inquiries, networking/social media platforms like LinkedIn, and CRM.
2. Customer Meetings: Organize and facilitate meetings with potential customers, understand their organizational needs, and identify the most suitable corporate solution. Contribute to proposal development and contract negotiation.
3. CRM Management: Proficiently use CRM for managing and tracking leads and opportunities (Dynamics 365).
4. Renewal Tracking: Monitor renewals and minimize the lapsing of corporate members and sponsors.
5. Reporting: Provide monthly reports to the sales and marketing manager.
6. Re-engagement: Reach out to lapsed corporate members and sponsors to renew their memberships and/or sponsorships and identify opportunities for upselling.
7. Team Collaboration: Work in close coordination with the Marketing, Learning, and Membership teams to maximize corporate sales, and liaise with the Finance team to ensure adherence to the correct invoicing process.

4. Interpersonal Skills: Adept at interacting with a diverse range of individuals, across different countries and organizational levels.
5. Collaboration Skills: Capable of fostering a collaborative environment within the sales team and across the organization.
6. Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, ensuring work is conducted in a productive and efficient manner.
7. Process Driven: Values a systematic and consistent approach to work, and leverages this to drive productivity and results.
8. Target Orientation: Goal-driven, with a proven ability to meet and surpass targets.
9. IT Skills: Excellent proficiency in IT tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and CRM systems.
10. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to processes.
11. Proactivity and Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
12. Empathy: Ability to empathize with others, understanding and sharing their feelings.
