Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you’ll collaborate on exciting projects, as the Company focuses on establishing a revised people strategy for and beyond.
The right candidate will take a hands-on approach and balance a data-driven mindset with warmth and personability. You’ll be liaising with colleagues across the UK, Spain and Hungary, so the ability to respect differences and work across global teams is imperative.
The role is initially for a 6-month fixed term period, with the possibility of extension.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 2-3 years of relative experience, either in a similar position or having gained invaluable experience in an entry-level role.

What You’ll Do
As an HR Generalist at One Beyond UK, you’ll provide full support to the business and teams, in relation to all HR matters; guiding and advising colleagues and assuming responsibility for the day-to-day smooth running of the UKHR function.
Main Functions & Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the employee life cycle: streamline processes from recruitment to off-boarding. Create continuous improvement and analyse data to enhance the employee experience and bolster retention.
2. Act as the first point of contact for employees, managing the UKHR inbox and addressing queries with empathy and efficiency.
3. Proactively identify and resolve employee relation issues, fostering a positive Company culture.
4. Maintain precise and up-to-date employee records, utilising and optimising the HRIS system effectively.
5. Maintain personnel files and produce all necessary documentation related to the employee.
6. Manage recruitment: assist in sourcing appropriate candidate pools and oversee the selection process. Drive diversity initiatives and ensure inclusion is at the forefront of recruitment strategy and hiring practices. Optimise and revise the recruitment process on an ongoing basis.
7. Guide management in the handling of performance issues, disciplinary procedures and grievances, in line with Company best practices and UK Employment Law.
8. Ensure strict compliance with employment laws and regulations; updating policies and procedures in accordance with both business operations and UK regulations. Conduct audits to maintain accurate records and mitigate potential legal risks.
9. Support, input and collaborate on on-going projects under the guidance of management; driving to refine, revise and create efficiencies in all aspects of the HR function.
10. Collaborate seamlessly with finance to ensure accurate payroll reporting and assist in preventing and resolving discrepancies. Keep meticulous track of HR payroll inputs throughout the month.
11. Manage appraisal and review processes; assisting and guiding managers in feedback, progression and development areas.
12. Work collaboratively with our Academy Team to ensure learning and development is supported with appropriate learning and development opportunities.

Requirements
13. 2-3 years HR experience in a similar (or entry-level) position
14. Working towards CIPD Level 5, or equivalent work experience
15. Proficiency in HR software systems and MS Office skills
16. Previous experience managing HRIS system (desirable)
17. Exceptional communication (both written & verbal), negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
18. Calm and considered, organised and able to prioritise tasks accordingly
Location
You will work remotely with the option of hybrid working available via our UK offices in Farnborough and Manchester.
You’ll be expected to attend in person at the request of your Line Manager, for team meetings or for Company wide events.
