Here at Priory Vets, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Large Animal Veterinary Technician and TB Tester to join our Vet Tech team. Vet tech services are available to provide a hassle-free way to benefit your herd or flock's health.
Our team undertake a wide variety of tasks on the farm including:
1. Mobility Scoring (RoMS Approved)
2. Body Condition Scoring and Rumen Fill
3. Dry Cow and Shed Analysis
4. Disbudding
5. Sample Collection
6. Youngstock Health
7. Embryo Transfer
8. Medicine Administration
9. TB Testing
10. In-House Lab Testing
11. Additional support on farm
Be part of delivering veterinary excellence. Our specialist farm team provides the highest quality of medicine with a proactive approach to preventative health planning. Our dedicated large animal premises are equipped with an in-house laboratory, pharmacy, lambing facilities, and an examination area. The site boasts ample parking space enabling easy access for clients with trailers.
What we need from you:
1. A passionate person who is hard working, reliable and proactive, with a 'can do' mindset.
2. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well both independently and within a team.
3. A people person with very good client service skills and a passion for working with animals.
Shift pattern:
This is a full time role working 40 hours across 5 days per week, with a share in the Saturday support staff office rota in addition.
