What you will be doing
As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining data solutions that support our business needs. From designing and implementing data platforms to ensuring data integrity and performance optimization, you will be at the forefront of driving our data-driven culture forward. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to expand their expertise in data engineering while contributing to meaningful projects that impact the organization's success.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Develop robust solutions for data engineering, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
* Provide support for the scoping and delivery of BI capability to internal users.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address business requirements.
* Design and implement performance enhancements and application migration processes.
* Identify and mitigate risks, escalating issues when necessary.
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data manipulation processes.
In return for your commitment
We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £45,000-50,000 and a competitive benefits package including:
* Discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 15%

Could you be the one?
We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:
* Intermediate level experience in Data Engineering/ETL development
* Intermediate level experience in data design in MI/ BI/ Analytics environment
* Intermediate Proficiency in Transact-SQL (T-SQL), relational database management and SSIS
* Basic to Intermediate level with Python is desirable
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
