Your future team:
The client's team is responsible for data and information management, and the team is planning to deploy an ERP model, where you will be responsible for data migration. The role requires engagement with various data domain owners to identify existing data and plan the migration process effectively.
Your missions:
1. Build and optimise data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
2. Design and manage modern data architectures, ensuring scalability and performance.
3. Automate data processing workflows, reducing manual effort.
4. Work on data integration, ETL, warehousing, and API development.
5. Deploy and maintain big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
6. Develop data models and visualisation solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
7. Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and data governance policies.
8. Engage with business stakeholders to understand data needs and drive digital transformation.

Qualifications/Skills to be successful:
1. Proven experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Digital Engineering.
2. Strong background in SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing technologies.
3. Hands-on experience with Python, Java, or Scala for data processing.
4. Expertise in cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, or GCP.
5. Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
6. Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and compliance standards.
7. Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting.
8. Experience working with SAP (desirable) and Azure (bonus).
Additional Information:
1. Sole UK nationals only
2. Candidates must be eligible to obtain SC clearance
3. Will be required to be on site in Derby 3-4 days per week
4. Inside IR35 contract or permanent staff position
