Accommodation: Two-bedroom caravan available
Contract: Full-time, year-round (March – November operation, with ongoing responsibilities outside these months)

About the Business
The venue is a high-volume dining establishment located in a thriving park environment, providing a fast-paced and dynamic setting with a focus on delivering quality food and service.
* Covers: 380 (plus an additional 100 in the beer garden)
* Seasonal Footfall: Off-peak up to 150, peak season up to 900
* Annual Turnover: £1.1m in food sales / £800k in beverage sales
* Opening Hours: 9 AM – 11 PM (food served 9 AM – 9 PM)
With an experienced kitchen team already in place, the business seeks a Head Chef/Kitchen Manager who can provide strong leadership, uphold high standards, and bring passion and structure to the role.
The Role
* The Head Chef/Kitchen Manager will be responsible for the overall kitchen operation, ensuring smooth service, strong leadership, and excellent food quality. This is a hands-on role requiring a balance between kitchen duties, operational management, and staff development.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a team of 12 (off-peak) to 15/16 (peak), including Shift Leaders, Chefs, and Kitchen Porters
* Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene
* Manage stock control, ordering, and cost efficiency
* Ensure compliance with all kitchen procedures and processes
* Collaborate with the Head of Food & Beverage to align kitchen operations with business goals
* Maintain consistency while allowing room for creativity within structured menus
* Support team training and development to sustain operational excellence
* Adapt to business demands, ensuring seamless transitions between off-season and peak-season operations
The ideal candidate will be:
* An experienced Head Chef or Kitchen Manager with a background in high-volume kitchens
* A confident leader who can inspire and manage a talented and strong-willed team
* Experienced in operational processes such as stock control, compliance, and cost management
* Capable of working within structured menus while bringing innovative ideas to enhance the offering
* Calm, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
