We are currently seeking a dedicated and ambitious Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team at our restaurant. As a Junior Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall operations of the kitchen, contributing to the highest quality of food preparation, and assisting in maintaining the excellence of our dining experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team, providing assistance and contributing to a collaborative work environment.
- Assist in the preparation of creative and authentic dishes, ensuring presentation and taste meet restaurant standards.
- Work with the senior kitchen staff in monitoring inventory levels, ordering supplies, and managing ingredient freshness.
- Contribute to menu development and assist in creating new dishes and seasonal specials.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
- Foster a positive and efficient working environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef.
- Knowledge of Asian cuisine, with a willingness to learn and grow in sushi preparation techniques.
-Fish filleting, Nigiri, Sashimi, Maki skills are required for this position
- Culinary skills with attention to detail in food presentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and assist in their training and development.
- Familiarity with inventory management and ordering processes.
