Learning and Development Manager - Balmalcolm and Orkie (Freuchie)
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Shaping and implementing a forward-thinking L&D strategy across the organisation
2. Leading and managing the L&D function and team
3. Overseeing Inductions, Technical, HSE, MHE & Development training – both internally & externally
4. Delivering engaging training sessions & inductions when required
5. Ensuring training compliance through audits, record-keeping & scheduling refresher courses
6. Developing and maintaining high-quality training materials for various disciplines
7. Managing and processing MHE Training certificates
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
1. Proven management experience in L&D – you're confident leading and inspiring a team
2. An engaging and enthusiastic personality – you bring energy and passion to everything you do
3. Excellent communication skills – you can engage with employees, managers, and external training providers with confidence
4. Strong organisational & project management skills – you can juggle multiple tasks with ease
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) – because details matter
6. A flexible, collaborative approach – you thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
