In order to maximise a new client base and effectively manage an existing group of clients, we are looking to fill a Sales Account Management and New Business role for our client's operation in Eastbourne.
Job Description
1. Predominantly New Business Development & Account Management
2. Developing relationships, onboarding new clients, and organic growth of existing clients
3. Managing existing accounts for long-term success
4. Establishing good rapport with clients
5. Dealing with day-to-day queries, taking ownership of all aspects of Account Management, inclusive of quote preparation, order raising, and much more
6. Monitoring sales/accounts
7. Representing the best image of the company at meetings with clients, exhibitions, industry events, and networking events
8. Taking an active interest in the industry’s requirements and improving product knowledge and competence on an ongoing basis
9. Sales or account management experience preferred
Essential Skills
1. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
2. Confidence talking to customers on the telephone
3. Eagerness to develop IT skills
4. Self-motivated, and keen to improve
5. Excellent attention to detail
6. Ability to take ownership of queries and respond in a timely manner
7. Comfortable working on your own initiative, but also know when to escalate issues to colleagues
8. Flexibility and willingness to adapt where necessary to help the wider team
9. Resilience, with the ability to problem-solve
10. Efficient when completing paperwork
11. Experience of following a sales process
12. Capable of managing own time & diary
