Role Overview: As a Sales Executive, you will play an essential role in driving hotel revenue and building client relationships across various segments, including corporate, M&E (meetings and events), and leisure. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will assist in executing sales strategies to maximize hotel occupancy, enhance brand visibility, and achieve ambitious revenue targets. This includes growing the meetings and events business, developing brand awareness in the Brighton market, and contributing to the hotel's ambitious growth plans. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Actively generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline for the hotel’s room, meeting, and event spaces Assist in organizing promotional events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to drive interest and bookings Meet weekly KPIs for sales appointments, site visits, and other promotional engagements Conduct engaging site tours for potential clients, showcasing the hotel’s facilities and meeting spaces Support the Director of Sales & Marketing in developing and executing sales campaigns, both locally and nationally Build and maintain relationships with key corporate accounts and leisure clients Conduct regular analysis of competitor activity, sales performance, and market trends to identify opportunities Report regularly on sales activities, target progress, and key account performance Provide input into pricing strategy and assist in annual sales planning Manage the follow-up process for all sales leads, including contracts, quotations, and client communications Requirements: 1–2 years of experience in a sales role, preferably within a hotel or customer-focused environment Strong selling, negotiation, and communication skills Highly motivated, with a proactive approach to meeting sales targets Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues alike Full driving license (desired, but not essential) About Our Culture: Dalata Hotel Group is Ireland’s largest hotel group, continuously expanding across Ireland and the UK with new properties and significant investment.
