Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to transform raw data into actionable insights. Lead the implementation of the organisation's Microsoft Fabric adoption roadmap and establish a Centre of Excellence. Work closely with data owners, analysts, scientists, and engineers to deliver tailored data solutions. Optimize data storage, retrieval processes, and performance for enhanced business insights. Ensure data security and uphold compliance with relevant regulations. Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on data collection and MI/BI development. Key Skills & Experience: Proven experience in data engineering, with a focus on ETL processes, data warehousing, and data pipelines. Strong knowledge of Power BI, MS SQL Server, and SQL for querying, summarizing, and retrieving data. Proficiency in data modelling, report design, and familiarity with programming tools like Python or R. Experience with data governance and knowledge of machine learning applications in data engineering. Proficiency in programming languages like DAX and PySpark. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent relevant experience is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
