About the Role:
* Deliver engaging and challenging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, following relevant examination specifications.
* Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
* Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including improvisation, script work, and performance techniques, to bring drama to life.
* Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys.
* Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Drama examinations, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria.
* Contribute to the development of the Drama curriculum and resources.
* Foster a love of drama and performance in students, encouraging them to develop their confidence and creativity.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
* Contribute to school productions and extracurricular drama activities.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in Drama and Theatre Studies.
* Demonstrated ability to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
* Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Drama examinations.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and performance skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
* A passion for drama and a commitment to fostering creativity.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
