As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Legoland, Windsor.
We are seeking a Sous Chef to lead in one of our kitchen operations and our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, possess strong leadership skills, and have a creative flair for menu development.

A day in the life of a Sous Chef:
* Day to day involvement to a high standard, in compliance with client contract.
* To fully familiarise yourself with all company policy and procedures.
* Guarantee daily implementation of Food Safety and Hygiene are maintained in the kitchen in line with current legislation.
* All such matters pertaining to safety and hygiene must be reported to the unit Manager
* To assist Group Executive Chef in crafting all menu cycles ensuring constant innovation and food variety whilst ensuring budgeted gross profit margins.
* To make certain the highest standard of food quality, presentation and service are achieved and maintained.
* To complete all food orders ensuring that only approved suppliers are used.
* To share responsibility with the receiving clerk for the checking, probing and signing of food deliveries to verify that only the highest standards of produce is accepted into the unit and to corroborate the accurate procedures are followed if.
* Manage the scheduling of team members in an ever-changing volume environment
* Deliver constant food quality through the management of their team
* A strong understanding of food/ Health and safety systems.
You will be set up for success if you have:
• Relevant culinary experience operating at a Sous Chef or Head Chef level
• A passion for food and service
• Flexible approach to hours and duties
• IT literate, numerate and able to communicate across cross discipline stakeholders
