You will help drive a robust risk and control environment across our Banking Products, ensuring that risk is managed in line with our Risk Management Framework. You will play a pivotal role in setting a high standard of Risk and Control Management Tesco Bank are currently recruiting for Control Testing Senior Analysts on month fixed term contracts, who will conduct independent control testing for the Banking business and Centres of Expertise to support decision making and to help the business understand and manage their risk and control profile. Please note this role is known as Quality Assurance Senior Analyst Banking and Protect in Tesco Bank. You’ll be working closely alongside assurance and oversight colleagues as well as product stakeholders and have the opportunity to engage with a wide range of stakeholders from across the entire business. You’ll have the opportunity to gain experience and develop within the role, as well as broader opportunities. This role is known as Quality Assurance Senior Analyst Banking and Protect in Tesco Bank. The Role •Managing a portfolio of assurance and oversight assignments focussed on control testing, ensuring that the team plans and delivers assurance and oversight that cover identified risk areas and that appropriate corrective actions are agreed on with business owners. •Helping resolve issues arising from assurance and oversight and referring serious or contentious issues to the accountable owner. •Ensuring the organisation is not exposed to undue risks by using risk management systems to achieve specific goals within a designated area of the business. •Providing specialist advice on the design and build of controls to efficiently mitigate risk. •Contributing to stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concern and reacting to these by arranging meetings and events and drafting supporting materials to promote understanding and commitment. We need you to have: •Experience working with Risk Management Frameworks and undertaking independent controls testing. •Good influencing skills - helping senior colleagues manage internal client and customer relationships by using relevant sales or client systems. •Strong experience of keeping track of risk parameters and identifying any deviations. •Solution-focused approach – ability to analyse specific problems and issues to find the best solutions. •Good attention to detail, producing accurate, high-quality control testing results. •Confident communicator with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels, building trust and gaining commitment through integrity, cooperation, and flexibility. •Initiative-taking mindset with strong planning and time management skills. Additional Information Role Alignment Following the announcement regarding Tesco's' strategic partnership with Barclays, this role will support our banking business and will transfer to Barclay's UK towards the end of 4, subject to regulatory approval.
