Ashley Kate HR and Finance are partnering with an established manufacturing business on a new Learning & Development Manager to support the business as it embarks on a true Leadership Development programme. Having grown massively, this is a business looking to develop and facilitate high-quality development workshops to maximize the development of their people. You will be based at the corporate head office in Sutton Coldfield; however, you will need to travel to sites across the UK weekly.
Salary: £50k - £60k dependent on experience.
The role will focus on embedding a performance culture through engagement, performance management, succession planning, and learning and development to help the leadership team drive sustainable business growth through our people and resources.
As the Learning & Development Manager, you will be an experienced professional with a passion for L&D, working with key stakeholders to deliver effective business solutions. You will need to embed a strong performance culture and deliver best practice frameworks for ongoing performance reviews linked to the business objectives.
You will be involved in identifying high-performing individuals at all levels and ensuring proactive plans are in place to support their career development. In addition to supporting behavioral and cultural change, you will help the business maximize the capability of people and identify opportunities to increase engagement. In line with this, you will be responsible for designing or sourcing the delivery of appropriate training for best practice and performance across all levels of the business.
Learning & Development Manager - About You
* A proven background in facilitating leadership workshops at Team Leader/Managerial Level.
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment; frontline leadership experience is highly advantageous.
* CIPD L&D qualification or IAF certified Professional Facilitator (CPF).
* A good understanding of succession and talent mapping and employee engagement.
* Experience delivering employee development training, coaching, and mentoring.
* A proven track record of advising and supporting senior stakeholders within your area of responsibility.
* Demonstrate a proactive and forward-thinking attitude with the ability to spot future challenges and take appropriate action.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to influence decisions.
