As an Apprentice Kitchen Manager, you'll make sure everything in the kitchen runs smoothly during a busy service. You'll know how to get the best out of your team by encouraging and supporting them to work well together, ensuring every dish served is of the highest standards.

As a Kitchen Manager, you will...
1. Take the reins in the kitchen, whether you are making decisions or coming up with fresh ways to help the team run better together.
2. Communicate clearly with your team in order to provide high-quality meals to customers on time.
3. Recognise and lead the team as a whole, understanding how to maximise their potential.
4. Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen.
What you'll bring to the kitchen:
1. Experience leading a busy kitchen, training and developing a high performing team.
2. Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
3. A keen eye for delivering tasty and well-presented meals.
4. Skill and willingness to take on and adapt to challenges.
What your apprenticeship includes
1. A mixture of face-to-face and skype/phone catch ups every 4 - 6 weeks to discuss feedback and progress.
2. A mixture of on and off the job training, including workshops and webinars.
3. Reviews every 12 weeks with your Line Manager and apprenticeship Trainer.
4. The chance to get Functional Skills in English and maths.
5. A Hospitality Team Leader Level 3 Apprenticeship Qualification once you have completed the 15 month programme.
At Greene King, you'll be working towards your Senior Production Chef Level 3 Apprenticeship Qualification over the course of 12-18 months.
