We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Drama Teacher to join an excellent school in Harrow. As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging drama lessons to students in secondary education. Responsibilities Plan and deliver interactive and engaging drama lessons to students according to the national curriculum Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans that cater to the needs of individual students Assess and provide constructive feedback on students' progress and performance Create and direct school productions and performances Collaborate with fellow teachers and professionals to develop cross-curricular projects Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in drama education Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students Requirements Bachelor's degree in Drama or a related field Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification Proven experience in teaching drama to primary or secondary students Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners Passion for drama and the ability to motivate and inspire students Organizational and time-management skills to effectively plan and manage lessons and productions.
