Sous Chef - Leisure Site - Weymouth - £30kp/a

You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality food services to our guests, colleagues, and visitors. If you have a keen eye for detail, a commitment to food safety, and a desire to provide exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Follow procedures for storing, preparing, cooking, and serving food, including labelling, temperature checks, and allergy management.
Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to cleaning schedules and identifying areas for improvement.
Accurately complete due diligence records and take corrective actions as needed to ensure food safety.
Operate in accordance with standard operating procedures, HACCP plan, Safe Systems of Work, and health & safety training to maintain a safe environment.
Customer Focus:
Cater to all customers, including guests, colleagues, and visitors, by meeting medical dietary needs and ensuring the quality of food delivery.
Ensure meal preparation and stocking meet anticipated volumes, maintaining appetizing offerings.
Maintain consistency in food preparation, cooking, and presentation throughout shifts.
Provide suitable provisions for those with specific medical dietary needs, overseeing all aspects of food delivery and cleanliness.
Conduct pre-shift briefings for colleagues, covering dish details, portion sizes, allergens, and dietary requests, while actively monitoring food quality and addressing any issues during service.
