Steel Sales Executive
Are you an experienced sales professional with a background in the steel or metals industry? Our client, a well-established and growing business in Ipswich, is looking for a dynamic Steel Sales Executive to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in selling mild steel or related metals to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients within the steel and metals industry.
* Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
* Provide competitive quotes, process orders, and manage customer accounts effectively.
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction.
* Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven sales experience within the metals industry.
* Strong knowledge of mild steel products is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
* Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
* Organised and able to manage multiple accounts effectively.
* Office-based role: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
* Monthly and annual bonus scheme.
* Pension matched up to 6%.
* 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, rising to 33 days after 4 years of service.
