We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our clients culinary team in Truro.
Due to the location of this job, your own transport is essential.
Pay rate:
* £18.50 p/hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Executive Chef in creating innovative and seasonal menus that reflect our commitment to culinary excellence and local ingredients.
* Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
* Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high levels of performance, professionalism, and teamwork.
* Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to optimise profitability while minimising waste.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and sanitary kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as food and beverage, to ensure seamless coordination and exceptional guest experiences.
