About Us
Based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, Natural Cement manufacture a specialist range of concrete repair materials, grouts, and sprayed concrete products for the construction industry. We are seeking a proactive and driven Sales Executive to join our team and contribute to our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and generate leads by engaging with contractors, engineers, and specifiers in the construction industry who require Natural Cement products.
2. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers to foster long-term partnerships.
4. Handle inbound technical queries and efficiently process sales orders.
5. Follow up on leads and quotations to successfully convert opportunities into sales.
6. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including detailed contact logs and progress reports.
7. Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events (including occasional travel and overnight stays).
8. Collaborate as a team player, undertaking additional duties as required by management.
Qualifications
1. Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
2. Competent in using Microsoft Office Suite.
3. Familiarity with CRM software systems.
4. Confident telephone manner.
5. Construction or manufacturing experience preferred but not essential.
6. Full driving license would be preferred but not essential.
