Aramark UK is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Sous Chef to join our fantastic team at Combermere Barracks, Windsor, SL4 3DN.
This is an exciting, permanent and full-time opportunity reporting into our Head Chef on site. You will work as part of the team to support in the very busy kitchen and deputise when the team is off. As a Sous Chef, you will support with the running of the kitchen, paperwork and orders to ensure we meet objectives and client expectations.
Full high security government vetting required prior to start which can take approximately 6 weeks.

A day in the life of a Sous Chef:
* Run various sections in the kitchen and be responsible for executing all dishes produced to a consistently high standard.
* Prepare, cook and present food in line with required standards.
* Ensure food is served promptly.
* Monitor food production to ensure consistent quality and portion size.
* Assist in maintaining a 5 star hygiene rating.
* Manage stock control, stock orders, and budgeting.
* Follow relevant hygiene, health and safety guidelines.
You'll be set up for success if you have:
* Good standards of culinary skills, presentation, and attention to detail.
* A positive attitude and ability to keep calm in stressful situations.
* Ability to step up to Head Chef when required.
* Adhere to and maintain Health & Safety, EHO and HACCP standards and procedures.
* Understanding of stocktakes and GP%.
