Bart & Taylor Limited are a collection of award-winning, premium boutique bars and restaurants, spanning from London to the North of England, each with their own unique concept and style. We're seeking a reliable, hard-working, and passionate Sous Chef to join our team at one of South London's finest restaurants, Fern.
Fern is a premium 'all-day' small plates and sharing concept, open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week, with breakfast on Saturdays and a roast on Sundays. You will be passionate about preparing, cooking, and presenting fresh and seasonal produce. You will be a self-proclaimed ‘foodie’ and be able to thrive in high-pressure environments. As Sous Chef, you will be fully responsible for the running of the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence. Fern is located directly opposite East Croydon Station, which is ideal for those commuting via train, tram, or bus. We provide a clear path of progression to those who desire it through our company pathway program. This role would suit either an experienced Sous Chef looking for a new and exciting challenge within a small but growing company, or a highly experienced CDP or Senior CDP looking for an opportunity for progression.

Schedule: 48 hours per week on a flexible schedule
Salary: £33,000 – £38,000 yearly
