Overview:
In this contract, WFH role, you will be responsible for helping the tech team to fully verify and validate software functionality by ensuring that it operates as specified in the requirements and in a way that provides an outstanding experience for clients. Facilitating this will require working closely with the software development lead, project managers, account managers and others. In a fast-paced environment, versatility and organisational skills will be paramount.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Maintain overall quality of the loyalty programs
2. Develop test cases based on requirements, specifications, and other technical documentation
3. Execute test cases, in many cases, manually test apps across multiple configurations
4. Identify and track defects in defect tracking system (Jira)
5. Perform smoke tests and regression tests, record and document test results, and compare with expected results, identify gaps and inconsistencies in test coverage or methodology
6. Collaborate with developers to improve standards and procedures for measuring product quality and release readiness
Technical Knowledge:
1. Robust technical aptitude
2. Proficiency with JIRA Software
3. Excellent attention to detail, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
4. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
5. Working knowledge of the software development life cycle and/or software QA methodology
6. Experience with SQL
7. Some programming experience would be beneficial
8. Basic working knowledge of networking and hands on experience with computer hardware
