With over 50 years experience we have developed close working partnerships with water, industrial and building services clients including the MOD, major Water Utilities and Global Contractors. We are looking for a qualified External Sales Executive to join our team. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales and building services specification within parts of London and the South East of England. As a External Sales Executive, you will be responsible for building your diary and making appointments with key stakeholders in the building services sector within your region, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented. Ultimately, you should be able to grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships. Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of accounts, from building services contractors, through to design consulting engineers Identifying new opportunities and clients within the building services sector. Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks, and to grow the KGN brand further. Carrying out site surveys, collating information, for the estimating department to prepare a quotation. Meeting sales targets and KPI’s set by the Sales Manager, aligned with company objectives. Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth Requirements and skills Proven work experience as a Sales account manager or Sales account executive Knowledge of the building services industry is particularly advantageous. Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular) Understanding of sales performance metrics Excellent communication and negotiation skills
