Job Title: SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE – TIMBER IMPORTER & DISTRIBUTOR
Job Description: Our client is a leading Importer & Distributor of Timber, Plywood, and Panel Products and due to expansion, they are seeking a SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE to lead and develop their Sales Team to promote their high-end Timber and Panel products in the South West. This role requires an experienced SALES EXECUTIVE that has comprehensive knowledge of the Timber/Panel UK Markets and the desire to develop & grow sales through existing & new customers.
Reporting to: DEPOT DIRECTOR
As a SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE, your role will be to oversee the day-to-day management of your Sales Team, ensure your Team achieves sales targets and volume. You will be responsible for proactively driving sales growth by continually looking to build and maintain relationships with exciting sectors including Timber & Builders Merchants, Shopfitters, Exhibition Companies, and the KBB sector.
Key Responsibilities of SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE:
* Drive sales to ensure that your Team achieves sales targets, volume & margin targets
* Staff training & development
* Stock Management
* Liaise with supply chain team & supplier
* Quoting and costing customer requirements
* Understanding customer needs and requirements, research accounts, identify key players
* Maintain & expand your database
* Create monthly reports for the Management Team
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:
* Face-to-face selling and negotiation skills
* Experience within the Timber/Panel Product Markets
* Strong presenting skills
* Self-motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
* Effective communication skills
* Customer-focused with sound commercial skills
* Good IT skills & PC literate and experience with Microsoft Outlook
Location/Area: SOUTH WEST
