What you can expect
This role is full time, working 40 hours per week. Normal office hours apply with some evening and/or weekend work being required (with advance notice).

As Sales Executive, you will assist in the selling and development of business for all groups and events. The role involves both the service of existing accounts and demonstrating initiative to solicit new accounts. As well as working as part of the Sales team within Hyatt Regency Birmingham, it is expected that the role networks with Hyatt colleagues around the world namely within the Hyatt Sales Offices. This is a busy and exciting department, where no 2 days are the same, you will be integrated into the hotel at large and will be encouraged to develop as an individual professionally as well as achieving targets.
Qualifications
About you:
The ideal candidate will have a solid background of proactive sales as well as reactive sales within a hotel or venue. We are looking for an analytical thinker, with a strong eye for detail, good sales and negotiation skills and a real go-getter.
