What’s involved?
In this role, you will:
* Pastry Production: Manage your pastry kitchen activities, ensuring every dessert and pastry meets the highest standards of preparation and presentation.
* Team Training and Delegation: Work closely with the Head Pastry Chef to train and inspire your team, managing tasks to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
* Margin and Costing Management: Utilize your expertise in margin and costing to optimize pastry production efficiency and minimize waste.
* Supervise Pastry Service: Supervise pastry production, ensuring every product meets exceptional quality standards.
* Promote Teamwork and Creativity: Foster a positive team atmosphere, encouraging collaboration, creativity, and a welcoming environment among staff.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a pastry production kitchen and a strong understanding of various pastry techniques, ingredients, equipment, and processes.
