We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join our thriving Performing Arts department in a high-achieving secondary school in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and deliver engaging drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role:
Deliver high-quality Drama lessons, fostering creativity and confidence in students.
Plan and assess engaging schemes of work in line with the national curriculum.
Support and contribute to school productions and extracurricular activities.
Work collaboratively with the Performing Arts department to enhance students' learning experiences.
Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
The Ideal Candidate:
A qualified teacher (QTS/PGCE) with experience teaching Drama at secondary level.
A passionate and creative educator who can engage and inspire students.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate teaching to meet all learners’ needs.
A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
A commitment to extracurricular drama activities and school performances.
This role is a maternity cover position running from April 2025 until at least December 2025.
