We have an exciting new vacancy for a Sous Chef to join our team at The Basingstoke Country Hotel. The Basingstoke Country Hotel is a 100 bedroom-hotel that boasts a stylish Brasserie, offering casual dining and food for the whole family. The Hotel has 5 conference rooms catering for between 25 to 240 delegates providing for various events and wedding functions.

Your duties will include:
Preparing, producing, and presenting meals to the highest standards.
Assisting in menu planning for our restaurant and event facilities.
Encouraging and developing your team members.
Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
Managing food deliveries and stock control.
Demonstrating creativity and innovation in your work.
The successful candidate will have a passion for quality food, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. You will be proactive, detail-oriented, and have a proven track record in a similar role, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in both food preparation and kitchen management.
