Job Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to ensure our software products and systems meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a keen interest in technology, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
Design, document, and execute test plans and test cases.
Conduct comprehensive testing to identify defects and confirm system functionality.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
Log, document, and manage software defects in the tracking system.
Verify resolved issues and perform regression testing as needed.
Participate in review meetings to share insights on test progress and product quality.
Adhere to established QA processes, standards, and best practices.
Stay informed about emerging tools, techniques, and methodologies in software testing.
Key Skills & Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Proven experience in software quality assurance or a similar role.
Hands-on experience with QA tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with software development (SDLC) and testing life cycles (STLC).
Knowledge of different testing types, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Desirable:
Experience in testing web applications, APIs, or mobile apps.
Preferred Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Professional certifications in QA or software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
