About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, following relevant examination specifications. Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported. Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including improvisation, script work, and performance techniques, to bring drama to life. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Drama examinations, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria. Contribute to the development of the Drama curriculum and resources. Foster a love of drama and performance in students, encouraging them to develop their confidence and creativity. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Contribute to school productions and extracurricular drama activities. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Drama and Theatre Studies. Demonstrated ability to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Drama examinations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and performance skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
