Plan and deliver lessons that foster creativity, communication skills, and critical thinking, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and resources, including improvisation, script work, and technical theatre. Assess student progress through performances, presentations, and written work, providing detailed feedback to support their development. Contribute to the development of the Drama curriculum, integrating current theatrical trends and performance techniques, and participate in departmental planning. Organize and lead school productions, drama clubs, and theatre trips, promoting student engagement and artistic expression. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong Drama subject knowledge, including performance, directing, and theatre studies. Demonstrated experience teaching Drama to A-Level, with a focus on both practical skills and theoretical understanding. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and performance skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
