The Role:
The successful candidate will support the Head Chef in overseeing the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring high standards are maintained across service, prep, and hygiene. They will play a key role in leading the brigade, contributing to menu development, and mentoring junior team members.
This position is ideal for a Junior Sous Chef ready to step up, or a Sous Chef looking for a fresh, creative environment.
Candidate Profile:
* Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef in a premium casual, brasserie, or modern British setting
* Confident leading sections and managing service in a fast-paced kitchen
* Passionate about seasonal produce, British cuisine, and modern plating
* Strong understanding of kitchen systems, stock control, and food safety
* A positive, can-do attitude and strong team leadership skills
