A position for a highly motivated Sous Chef to work closely with the Head Chef in the kitchens of a 3 red star country hotel located near Kings Lynn is available. The hotel offers a range of busy dining operations, and it is essential that the exceptionally high standards are maintained at all times. The hotel features a 2 Rosette acclaimed restaurant serving fresh food with seasonally changing dishes, a very popular afternoon menu, and catering for private dining and weddings. As Sous Chef, you will have input on menus and assist in leading a brigade of chefs while remaining hands-on when service requires. It is important that the current standards of food served are maintained and pushed to the next level to ensure the popularity of the venue continues.
Requirements:
This role would suit a Sous Chef looking for a new challenge in their career. It is essential that all applicants have a proven track record of working in a high-volume fresh food operation, to a minimum of 2 Rosette standard. Excellent knowledge of current kitchen regulations is also essential for this role.
