Job Title: Head Chef Salary: £35,000 per annum Location: [Add location] Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week Evenings Off (excluding event days) About the Role Were looking for a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen through an exciting new phase. With a brand-new kitchen space launching soon and a full menu redevelopment planned, this is a fantastic opportunity for a creative, hands-on chef ready to make their mark. You'll play a key role in shaping the food offer, managing the kitchen team, and ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance across the board. Responsibilities Full menu design and development from brunch to bespoke events Day-to-day kitchen management including ordering, stock control and GP management Maintain all kitchen health & safety and food hygiene standards Lead a small team and support their development Confidently use (or learn quickly) systems like Indicator and Nutritics Plan and deliver food for occasional events, including weddings The Menu Offer Counter items: pastries and cakes (mainly bought-in), baked off fresh daily Handmade sandwiches: wide variety with a focus on fresh, seasonal flavours Short menu: 68 brunch/lunch-style dishes served 10am3pm Daily specials Events: occasional private functions and weddings (some with pre-selected menus) About You Experienced Sous Chef or Head Chef with a solid track record Strong understanding of GP, stock management and kitchen operations Creative flair and confidence in launching new food concepts A calm, positive leader who thrives under pressure Comfortable using kitchen management systems and digital tools What We Offer £35,000 salary Life Insurance.
