Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment and possess a strong understanding of food preparation, safety, and kitchen management. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation while fostering a positive team atmosphere.
Duties
1. Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
2. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and consistency.
3. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
4. Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure seamless food production.
5. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and team management skills.
6. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
7. Supervise daily kitchen operations, including scheduling shifts and managing labour costs.
Experience
1. Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within the culinary industry.
2. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and culinary best practices.
3. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
4. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
5. A culinary qualification or relevant certification would be advantageous.

Pay: £34,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
