Job Description
We are looking for FULL TIME - RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR to join the team at our restaurant located within the historic British Museum.
Must be FULLY FLEXIBLE (Monday to Sunday) and have experience in a similar role.
The British Museum is one of the best-known and most-visited museums in the world; in turn we hope making our restaurant one of the best-known and most-visited. In Benugo, we strive for perfection, making our customers experience with us as memorable as seeing the Rosetta stone.
We are predominantly day time shifts, meaning we offer one of the best work-life balance in hospitality. You will be responsible for taking orders, making coffees, running food and looking after sections.
About the Cafe Supervisor role:
* To oversee the day-to-day operations by ensuring that our product and the service we provide are of highest standard at all times
* To support management team in working towards improving sales and service
* Ensuring high levels of Food and Health & Safety are maintained at all times
* Act as manager in management absence and motivate the team
* Cash up duties after training
* Stock control
* Schedule design and daily allocation of tasks.
About you:
* A Restaurant Supervisor experienced working in high volume restaurant.
* Excellent communicator and leader with the ability to motivate and inspire
* The ideal candidates will possess good food and beverage knowledge in addition to outstanding customer service, and leadership skills.
We Offer:
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Shifts: 5 days out of 7
Contract: Full Time/ Fixed-term
Qualifications
Experience:
* Minimum 1 year experience in similar roles (required)
* Coffee: 1 year (preferred)
* Cash handling: 1 year (required)
* Excellent product knowledge (food/beverage)
* Leads by example by always acting professional.
* Excellent communication skills
* Takes the initiative
* Excellent time management
* Supportive / Team player
* Strong presentation skills
* Excellent customer care skills
