Job Description:
1. Kitchen Management: Assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
2. Menu Development: Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create and update menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and trends.
3. Food Preparation: Lead food preparation and cooking, ensuring dishes are of the highest quality and presentation.
4. Staff Supervision: Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
5. Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and minimize waste through effective portion control.
6. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks on food items and address any issues promptly.
7. Cost Management: Help control food costs and labor costs through efficient kitchen operations.
8. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
Qualifications:
1. Culinary degree and relevant experience.
