A coeducation day school in Bristol with a separate nursery, separate prep school through to main senior school. Catering for around 900 students and teachers daily. Our catering offer includes a morning purchased snack offer, lunch served in the main dining hall, and a separate lunch sent to the nursery facility. There is also a sixth form café serving tea, coffee, pastries, and hot snacks. This location has a good amount of high-end hospitality. The school operates Monday to Friday, with catering for match teas only on Saturday. Additional benefits to this location include the use of an on-site gym and free parking facilities.
We are looking for a talented Pastry Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Bristol.
You will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced kitchen as a Pastry Chef. Experience in making cakes, bread, and pastry from scratch will also be welcomed as full training and development will be provided.
You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients and regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.
Key responsibilities:
* To work well in a team producing bread, cakes, and desserts for lunch service and hospitality.
* To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch, and following the company's brand standards.
* Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
* Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
You will have the following skills:

* Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good understanding and use of verbal English.
